Spain is a country which is extremely complicated and simple at the same time. People say its complicated as it has complex and political structure of regions and it is simple because the Spaniards themselves choose to live their daily lives. There are many historical influences that have gone into the making of Spain of today. This is one of the reasons why exploring Spain is a wonderful experience altogether. In one of the pilgrimage routes, the route taken by St.James or Camino de Santiago, there are remains of St.James that are buried in what is now called modern day Galicia. This is hence one of the biggest pilgrimage sites in all Christendom. The English route, French route and the Spanish route were the common starting point for the Way along St.James.This is further said to be the most popular originate from the north of France towards north of Spain and then to Santiago.
