First meal is the best meal

Breakfast…the very word means breaking the fast of the night where our stomach is empty while we are asleep. The breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which gives us all the energy to carry out our day’s activities. Skipping breakfast is a very unhealthy habit, which results in more consumption of food at later hours of the day. Breakfast can never be substituted with a glass of water or a mug of coffee. It should always be an ideal meal with an egg, cornflakes, slice of bread, juice, milk and fruits. Studies have shown that those who skip breakfast, get tired easily by afternoon and shown less attention to their activities. Hence it is very essential that we start our day with a healthy breakfast.

Heli Skiing

Skiing, as many of us know is an adventurous sport. What would happen if an helicopter is combined with it? We would then have, what is called Heli Skiing. This sport was first introduced in Kashmir, India in January 1988. Established with Swiss-born ski-mountaineer, Sylvan Saudan, Heli skiing is for those who love adventure and prior experience in skiing along with some knowledge about the physical features of hazardous areas. In this sport, a helicopter would leave a person on top of a snow capped mountain and then the person is allowed to explore the mountain, as he skis his way down through unknown routes. As this sport involves quite a lot of risk, it is very essential that the condition of the snow and the mountain are well examined before skiing. Skiing stability changes from slope to slope, so it is always advised to take the advice of some skiing experts who have good knowledge and experience. Some of the best skiing destinations in India are Manali (Himachal Pradesh), Uttaranchal and Jammu and Kashmir.

Place unexplored-Quintana Roo and Bacalar,Mexico

With the hotchpotch of various physical features like coral reefs, wild jungles, beaches and lagoons, Quintana Roo in Mexico is a must visit destination. This place is located in the shores of the Chetumal bay and has its capital named after the bay. A 45 minutes drive from the capital would take you to a long shoreline called Costa Mayan, which consists of lovely untouched beaches. A boat ride to Chinchorro would invite you to the largest coral reef in Mexico, housing many marine creatures. Bacalar in southern Quintana Roo was a place of ancient settlements and has a lot of historical prominence. This place was called “Bak’Halal” or “place of reeds” by the Mayas. It is believed that the first Mexican mestizo, who is half-European and half-Mayan, was first born in Southern Quintana Roo. Tourism has been improving continuously in these areas, with new roads, cruise ship docks and airstrips. With not many people being aware of it, Bacalar is the right place to have a date with history and untouched nature.
